MY FOCUS

After a brief  period as a publicist with Handelsblatt economic daily Hospodarske noviny and a job as a Morning show radio host in Ragtime 106.6 FM she joined the Slovak public television as a junior writer and reporter.  Within a year she became the main evening news anchor  at a first commercial TV channel in a country, CMEś  slovak  TV Markiza.   She moved up to become that show’s regular anchor and reported “hard news” . During five years she became writing and editing her own reports and interviews . In 2001 together with her partner,  they founded the first news channel in Central Europe , TA3  where  she worked also on regular basis as special segments  editor..

Andrea Vadkerti is also known in a country as a “ Slovak Oprah”, in 2003 she started the first daytime talkshow  in the region which aired daily for more than three years and was named after her Vadkerti talkshow. She co- produced the show  and as a host  interviewed over 2000 people from wilde range of backgrounds.  Her very last show before giving birth to her first child was a remarkable life show with 200 women behind bars in the audience while interviewing women on death penalties which took place at the site in a prison.

Afrer co- hosting and writing several daytime TV magazines in a Slovak Public Televison she returned back to TA3 news channel where she worked as Editor in chief for a short time period and became producing her own weekly interview show Portret.  Vadkerti interviewed many local and international personalities., among them well known figures as Brian Tracy,  Steve Forbes, Larry King,  Garry Kasparov , Joan Laporta or many others.  Today she continues working on her interview show , following her personality journalism skills and tought provoking inspitrational  topics since she works also as a selfexpression certified coach and womenś activist,philatropist.
